1. What this covers

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on crownperfectuk.com, including our price quiz. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Your choice

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in section 5 runs until you press Accept. If you decline, or do not answer, none of it loads. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the foot of every page.

3. Strictly necessary storage

These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them. They do not track you.

• Your cookie choice, stored in your browser (local storage, key cp-cookie-consent) so we do not ask you again on every page.
• Online booking. If you book through our booking system (Phorest), it may set the cookies it needs to take your booking.

4. Anonymous quiz statistics

Our price quiz counts how many people reach each step, so we can see where it is confusing and improve it. It uses a random visit number held in your browser only until you close the tab (session storage), sets no cookies, and never records your name, email, phone number or what you type. It sends to our own server, not to an advertising company. It only runs once you press Accept, and stops if you later decline.

5. Analytics and marketing (only with your consent)

• Google Analytics 4 (Google), cookies starting _ga, to count visits and see which pages help people find what they need. Kept for up to 2 years.
• Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), cookies such as _clck and _clsk, to see how pages are used, for example where people stop scrolling. Kept for up to 1 year.
• Meta Pixel (Meta, for Facebook and Instagram), cookies such as _fbp, to measure whether our adverts lead to quiz enquiries, and to show our adverts to people likely to be interested. Kept for up to 90 days.

If you accept cookies and send us the quiz form, we also share your email, mobile number and first name with Meta, scrambled (hashed) before they leave our website, so Meta can count the enquiry once even if an ad blocker stops the pixel. These tools never receive your quiz answers.

6. Embedded content

Our map is provided by Google Maps and only loads once you accept cookies, or when you press “Tap to load the live map”. Google may then set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. The online booking panel for existing clients (Phorest) loads only when you open it.
